Anna M. Bloom, 95, Lewiston homemaker

      Anna M. Bloom, a Lewiston homemaker, died of causes related to age Wednesday at Valley Rehabilitation and Living Center. She was 95.
      She and her husband, John L. Bloom, operated a rooming house at Orofino before retiring in 1966 and moving to Lewiston.
      She was born June 29, 1898, at Teakean, Idaho, to William L. and Jennie B. Holladay Brown.
      She was raised and attended schools in the Teakean area, and married Fred Daniels in 1916 at Orofino. They lived at Orofino for many years.
      After their divorce she moved to Spokane, where she met John L. Bloom. They were married there July 31, 1940.
      They later moved to Myrtle Creek, Ore., then to Port Angeles, Wash., before moving back to Orofino in 1946.
      They managed a rooming house in their home along Michigan Avenue. After his retirement from the city of Orofino, they moved to Lewiston in 1966. He died May 17, 1980.
      In September 1989 she moved to Regency Plaza (now Royal Plaza) Retirement and Care Center and moved to Orchards Villa Nursing Home (now Valley Rehabilitation and Living Center) after breaking her hip in 1990.
      She enjoyed quilting, embroidery, sewing, houseplants, vegetable and flower gardening and crocheting, and she made many afghans.
      She was a member of United Methodist Church at Orofino.
      Survivors include three daughters, Wanda M. Wood and Elaine N. Mathison, both of Lewiston, and E. Vivian Lambert-Stewart of Clarkston; two sons, Erle H. Daniels and Dale Bloom, both of Lewiston; three sisters, Opal Goin and Eunice Mathews, both of Port Angeles, and Myrtle Powell of Teakean, 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
      Two sisters, Kathryn McWatty and Mamie Nurmi, and two brothers, Raleigh and Gifford Brown, died previously.
      Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. today at Malcom's Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel at Lewiston.
      Her funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, also at Malcom's, with the Rev. Tom Hansen of Congregational-Presbyterian Church at Lewiston officiating.
      The family suggests memorials be sent to the Eagles Auxiliary, 865 Main St., or to American Cancer Society, in care of Georgina LaRocque, 1027 Ninth Ave., Lewiston, Idaho 83501.
